Established to unite the vibrant community of CSI congregations living outside India, the Diaspora Diocese traces its roots to the early 1970s when families first gathered to preserve their spiritual heritage in North America. Following decades of growth, fellowship, and the formation of the Council of CSI Congregations in 1994, the diocese was officially inaugurated by the CSI Synod in January 2023. Today, we stand as a global family—encompassing congregations across North America and Canada—committed to witnessing Christ's love and upholding the rich traditions of the Church of South India.
